Section 1 Information GDP Global collect and its use

The personal information provided by learners and/or their employers, is collected for legitimate business and training purposes. We ensure all data is managed lawfully, fairly and transparently. This includes processing registrations or enquiries, keeping registered learners or others informed about our company’s training activities, events, products, services, newsletters and for research and analysis (e.g. market, customer, information and product analysis).

This enables GDP to provide a minimum level of customer service. It also allows us to review, develop and improve services which the company offers and to enable us to provide learners with information about the company which we believe will closely match your industry preferences.

However we process data for these purposes we will ensure that we always keep your Personal Data rights in high regard and fully take account of these rights. We will only collect the personal information that is necessary for the purposes mentioned above. It includes the following:

  • Full Name & Job Title
  • Company Name & Address
  • Phone
  • Email Address
  • Interest Areas & Preferences

We may keep you informed of our services by using the following methods:

  • Post
  • Email
  • Telephone

Learners who register on a training course are required to agree to the storage, retrieval and analysis on non-personal information that is provided for the completion of the training course.

Learners may, on completion of the training course, request that their personal data is deleted from the GDP database, whereas the non-personal data will be retained.

Section 2 Sharing data

We do not rent or sell our customer e-mail lists. We may give information about you to the following (who may use it for the same purposes as set out above):
  • To other delegates participating on a GDP Global event (only where you are attending in a professional capacity, e.g. business related events) where it is expected that attendees will have access to a list of attendees and their organisation but not the actual contact details.
  • If we have a duty to do so or if the law requires us to do so.

Section 3 Security

We take precautions to protect your information. Access to all users’ information is restricted within our office. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our data is kept in a secure cloud server environment.

Section 4 Policy review

This policy is reviewed regularly and revisions are made in response to changes in legislation, changes in our practices, actions from our regulatory or external agencies, and / or in response to customer and stakeholder feedback.

About GDP Global Development Ltd. Policy Documents

As an accredited training centre, GDP Global Ltd (GDP) has policies and procedures in place to fulfil Approval and Regulatory requirements and to provide a route map for GDP staff members, associates and learners.

The policies reflect the internal practice(s) of GDP, the purpose of which is to ensure that the staff and associates of GDP are familiar with their content and the processes involved.

The policies, procedures and guidelines are updated regularly. As an accredited learner Centre, the policy documents of GDP Global are subject to an annual review by accreditation bodies. The purpose of the review is to ascertain whether the policies, procedures and internal procedures are up-to-date and aligned to changes that have been made throughout the year.

This Policy also applies to GDP KnowHow which is a division of GDP Global Development Ltd.
